What it does not do
It places whole images on PDF pages. Some jobs need a different tool.
No standard page size
Pages aren't A4 or Letter sized, and there's no margin or fit option. A very large photo makes a very large page, and a tiny one makes a tiny page.
No compression
Photos are embedded at their original size and quality, so a batch of large photos makes a large PDF. Shrink them first with Image compressor if the result has to stay under an upload limit.
No reordering after the fact
Reorder the queue before you combine. There's no way to reorder pages inside a PDF once it's built.
No text recognition
The PDF holds pictures of your documents, not searchable text. Run PDF and image OCR on the result if you need to search or copy it.

No. pdf-lib runs in this tab and builds the PDF from the files you added. The only download is the pdf-lib library itself, from the cdnjs CDN, and no request carries your photos.
Each page matches the pixel dimensions of its photo, not a printed size like A4 or Letter. A 3000 by 2000 pixel photo becomes a page 3000 by 2000 points, which prints large unless you scale it down in your PDF reader.
Yes. Drag a file to a new position, or use the up and down arrows next to it. The finished PDF follows that order.
Yes. JPG and PNG are placed directly. WebP, GIF and BMP are converted to PNG in your browser first, then placed the same way.
Each photo can be up to 100 MB. There's no cap on how many you add, though a large batch takes longer and makes a larger PDF.
Your photos stay on your device
Your browser reads each photo and pdf-lib assembles the PDF inside this tab. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab clears the files from memory.
